VCIS is a court service which allows anyone to dial directly into the Court's Bankruptcy database by calling 866-222-8029 using a touch tone telephone. Available information includes:

• Case Number
• Chapter
• Filing date
• Debtor's name/principal adversaries
• Debtor's attorney
• Trustee
• Judge
• Date and location of first meeting
• Discharge and closing dates
• Status of assets
• Last date to file proof of claims

This system includes information on Bankruptcy cases filed since September 17, 1990 and all those pending as of that date. If the desired information is not obtained, the caller is given the opportunity to transfer to an operator.
